Roxana Acosta

Hi my name is Roxana Acosta and I am 18 years old. Before I joined Steps Ahead my life was scary. After school, I would go home and do drugs, to slowly kill myself. My friends saw me as adventurous and "cool". I saw no point in anything.

Through Steps Ahead, I was taught tools to help me deal with myself problems. I was paired with a Mentor who helped to save my life and my future.

I just graduated and I am starting college in the fall at the University of Tampa. I owe them my life.
