Timeline for Event

Plan to come to Monaco Lanes NO LATER than 6:30 to enroll your team and get your lane and get that FREE first frosty pitcher (remember that a portion of all drink sales gets donated back to us!). We will have a warm up period of until 7:00 and first balls will be rolled PROMPTLY at 7:00!

The timeline is as follows.

• Registration is 6:00- 6:45
• Practice bowling is from 6:45-7:00
• The games begin at 7:00
• The first two games your team bowls counts towards your score.
• 9:30 The horse race begins.

Bowling:

All games will begin promptly at 7:00. Your team will have until 9:15 to complete two full rounds, after which time all bowling will stop. Should you finish before that time, you can continue to bowl at your leisure until 9:15. However, your final team score will be the BOWLER AVERAGE of your first two completed games. If your team gets high score, you win 12 bottles of wine!

Rollers’ Survival Kit ($20 – for a $25 value):

These kits are an essential component of your evening. They include the following:

• $10 worth of Drawing tickets for prize drawings that take place throughout the night
• 1 ticket for Beat the Pro (worth a free drink if you are able to beat the pro)
• 1 ticket for the Grand Finale HorseRace (read below)
• Beat the Pro ($5 per ticket):

Our resident pro, Shawn Lee, will be stationed in the center lane. The object of this is simple – Beat the Pro. You will be able to draw a card that will make the pro bowler either use his off arm, bowl behind his back or bowl between his legs. There is also a chance, however, that you will pick a card that mean you get no advantage and bowl against the pro mano y mano! If you score higher in a single bowl than the pro, you will win a ticket for a FREE drink/cocktail of your choice.

Each Rollers Survival Kit includes 1 ticket (1 chance to Beat the Pro). Additional tickets can be purchased for $5/ticket.

Bar/Drink Sales:

A portion of all sales are being donated directly to our beneficiary organizations, so “Stay thirsty my friends!”

Grand Finale HorseRace ($10 for single ticket entry):

Ticket holders for this Grand Finale event will report to one of the designated lanes by 9:30. At that time, each bowler will have a single roll into a pin set up. If you fail to roll an 8 or better – you will be automatically disqualified from the race. All who roll an 8 or higher, will move onto the next round. Each new round will commence with only the bowlers who roll a qualifying score. The race will continue on until we crown a single winner – the best in show who will win Broncos tickets on the 50 yard line!

Spirit Award

Are you dressed up and showing what your Mama gave ya? We will be on the lookout for the team with the most spirit. If you have “it”, your team walks away with a PBR PARTY for 20 people at the Squire Lounge! So bring it on and dress it up! We’ve got spirit, yes we do. Do you have spirit? Show it too!

How this all works

Scoring

All teams will roll TWO (2) games and the average per bowler of those games will determine your team score. We will be selling a Roller’s Survival Kit that includes $10 worth of raffle tickets, a “Beat The Pro” game and a ticket to the Horse Race for $20 (a $25 value!)

Fundraising

Yeah we're going to have a blast at the event, but the idea is to raise a ton of money for Denver's At-Risk Youth. Each team's fundraising result will count towards their total score. The $250 team fee will go towards your fundraising total. All additional donations will appear on your teams personal page. The best way to raise funds it to email your friends, family and colleagues a message letting them know about the event and directing them to the website.

Prizes

Top Teams will be awarded some pretty sweet stuff. Ever wanted a custom ball, bag and that wrist guard thing? It could be yours. Other prizes will be awarded throughout the evening for individual accomplishments. The biggest prize, however, is reserved for the team that raises the most funds for at-risk youth. If you can raise the most money (must be greater than $1,000 as a team) you get, 6 Rockies tickets in a Coors Field suite and a$15 food card per person and a pre-game warm up at a location near the stadium! Get ready for the Horse Race (tickets are available for $10 or are included in the Roller’s Survival Kit). Ticket holders for this Grand Finale event will report to one of the designated lanes by 9:30. At that time, each bowler will have a single roll into a pin set up.
